Rosemount Research and Outreach Center

On August 13, 2025, the Rosemount Research and Outreach Center (Rosemount ROC) welcomed farmers, researchers, students, and community members to its annual Field Day—an event that celebrated agricultural research, sustainable practices, and the power of collaboration between the University and the wider community.

The Rosemount Research and Outreach Center (Rosemount ROC) completed harvesting camelina, a resilient oilseed crop gaining attention for its potential in sustainable agriculture and biofuel production.

Farmers, industry professionals, and researchers gathered recently at the Rosemount Research and Outreach Center for a field day led by Dr. Debalin Sarangi, Assistant Professor and Extension Weed Scientist at the University of Minnesota.
