The Lone Rock Trail is open for hiking and horseback riding, but please familiarize yourself with our trail webpage for appropriate trail usage and information about usage seasons and hunting closures.
The trail will be closed to hiking from November 9th through December 15th for firearms deer hunting. Please note that the Vermillion Highlands are NOT open for fall turkey hunting in 2024.
