The Rosemount Research and Outreach Center is one of eight regional research and outreach centers for the University of Minnesota under the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences. It is located 25 miles southeast of the Twin Cities near Rosemount, Minnesota on 5,000 acres at the University of Minnesota's Outreach, Research and Education (UMore) Park. The RROC is also home to a large collection of the Dakota County Master Gardeners' Research and Display Gardens.
The mission of the research and outreach centers is to support research that enhances the quality of agricultural production, human health, renewable energy and the environment, and to disseminate the benefits of this research to the public.
